Documents and certificates Export Accompanying Document (ABD) / Export Document (EX) / (EX-A) / EX.1 / EAD

The Export Accompanying Document has many different names, as indicated in the title. But no matter what it is called now, the document is necessary if you want to export goods commercially from Germany to a non-EU country.

In principle, this applies if the goods cost € 1,000 or more or the weight exceeds 1,000 kg. In other words, if you buy a vehicle from us and want to export it to a third country, you will always need this document for the VAT-exempt purchase.

We will be happy to prepare this document for you, so that you only need to have it scanned by customs at the external EU border. With the scan, the document automatically converts into an output note. The exit note serves as proof that the goods have actually left the country.

The status of an export accompanying document can be checked here at any time: Tracking of an export MRN

EUR.1 Certificate / EUR.1 Certificate / Movement certificate

The movement certificate EUR.1 is a formal proof of preference which is used to obtain customs benefits. Certain goods can thus be imported into the respective country duty-free or at reduced rates of duty.

Certificate of Origin (CvO)

The certificate of origin proves the origin or the country of production of a commercial vehicle. While it does not offer any mitigation of import duties, it can lead to facilitation of registration in some countries.
